Do and Don't
1) Decent dressing is much encouraged when entering the homes of the locals, places of worship    and rural areas.
2) Shoes / sandals must be removed when entering homes and places of worships.
3) Lewd acts, necking and excessive kissing in public places / transportation is prohibited.
4) Sunbathing in nude is not allowed on public beaches and swimming pools.
5) Shaking hands is generally more acceptable than kissing the hand and cheek. Males should refrain from doing so with Muslim women and make do with a smile or a nod.
6) Toasting is a taboo with Muslims as it is against their religion to consume alcoholic drinks.
7) To indicate a direction or a person, do not point with the forefinger as it is considered rude. Instead use the thumb with the four fingers folded under.
8) Use the right hand when giving or receiving something, or if you would like to eat with your hands.
