It
is
the
capital

Aichi
Prefecture

principal
city

Nobi
plain,
one

Honshu's
three
large
plains

industrial

developed
as
the
castle
town
of
the
Owari,
one
of
the
three
branches
of
the
ruling
Tokugawa
family
during

Period.
