There over 40 international airlines offer
daily flights from major cities to Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA)
located in Sepang, an hour’s drive from the city. From KLIA, there are
connecting flights to most major cities and towns in Malaysia, including Sabah
and Sarawak.
The former international airport, the Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah Airport in Subang
now only caters domestic air services.

High-speed trains provide a 28-minute ride
daily between KLIA and KL City Air Terminal (KL CAT), located inside the KL
Sentral Station at an interval of 15 minutes. Tourists flying with Malaysia
Airlines can check in their luggages and receive boarding passes before
proceeding to take the train. The minimum check-in time is two hours before
flight departure for international flights and one hour for domestic flights
(without luggages). |

First service starts at 5am and the last
service is at 1am.
One-way fare: RM35 for adults and RM15 for children between 2-12 years of age
Return fare: RM65 for adults and RM25 for children between 2-12 years of age

Airport Limousine
There are two categories of limousine service provided at KLIA, Premier Service
and Budget Service. This is a prepaid service and coupons are to be purchased
at the counters in the Arrival Concourse of the Main Terminal Building. Fares
and routes are based on zoning system and fares vary for type of service used.

There are coach services from Singapore and
Thailand. Pudu Raya Bus Station at Jalan Pudu, Kuala Lumpur offers many coaches

By Rail |
|
|
From Singapore, Thailand and many other
states in Malaysia, train service to KL Railway Station is available. The KTM
Commuter also offers a route with 40 stops going as far as Port Klang, Rawang
and Seremban. |

By Driving |
|
|
From Singapore to KL, drive across the
Woodland Causeway and take the North-South Expressway (E2) from Johor Bahru.
Alternatively, use the Tuas Second Link (E3) into Malaysia.
From Johor Bahru, get onto Tebrau Highway and drive on into the North-South
Expressway (E2). The whole journey takes four hours at 100km/hour non-stop.
When about to reach, keep to the right and follow the Kuala Lumpur-Jalan Tun
Razak signage. Keep right to avoid missing the turn into Jalan Loke Yew. Jalan
Loke Yew will lead to Jalan Bukit Bintang and Jalan Ampang. |
