There is no direct train service to Ipoh
from Singapore, transit at KL Sentral to take the KL-Ipoh-Butterworth-Hatyai
train heading towards the North.

By Land |
|
|
There are coach and express bus services to
Ipoh’s Medan Kidd Terminal from Kuala Lumpur and Butterworth. There are also
bus services from the North and South of the country, including Singapore.
Taxis also travel to Ipoh from various towns and states in the country. |

By Driving |
|
|
Take the North-South Expressway that
connects Kuala Lumpur and Bukit Kayu Hitam (490km) up at the North. |

From Singapore, on the North-South
Expressway, you will pass through from E2 towards Kuala Lumpur and E1 towards
Perak. |

|
When you reach travelling on Kuala Lumpur –
Jalan Sungai (Sg) Besi, take a different lane heading towards Kuala
Lumpur-Jalan Istana / Jalan Damansara and going onto Jalan Duta. You will reach
a toll. Drive towards North (E1) on the Jalan Duta-Sungai Buloh Expressway. |

When driving on the North-South Expressway,
head towards Perak. Exit the expressway through toll no. 137 for Ipoh. Get into
Jalan Tasek and drive towards Jalan Tambun (Jalan Raja Dihilir) heading into
the heart of Ipoh. |
