Sprawling across 15,200 hectares and fringing the 117,500-hectare Belum Forest, Temenggor Lake is ideal for outdoor relaxation and recreation. Rich in different species of fish, it is a favourite playground for anglers. Also popular here are jungle trekking and picnicking.
Located about 200km from Ipoh, the lake is accessible via the North-South Expressway. From Kuala Lumpur, exit at Kuala Kangsar and head towards Gerik. Then, take Route 4 (the East-West Expressway) to Pulau Banding.
