Coaches and express buses area available from terminals in Singapore (10 hours’ ride), Kuala Lumpur ( 7 hours’ ride), Ipoh, Penang (9 hours’ ride), Kota Bahru to Kuala Terengganu. |

From KL to Kuala Terengganu, take a coach from Putra Bus Terminal. From Singapore, take a coach at Beach road or Lavendar Street. Alternatively, take a bus from Larkin Bus Station in Johor. |

By Driving |
|

From Kuala Lumpur to Kuala Terengganu, self-driving takes a distance of about 455km. There are various routes leading to Kuala Terengganu. |

|
Exit from highway at Gombak Toll (route no. 2) on Karak Highway and drive towards Kuantan on the East Coast Expressway. Upon reaching, look out for Kuala Terengganu on route no.3. |

From Singapore, the distance is about 562km. On the North-South Expressway, exit at Yong Peng in Johor. Take route no.1 to Labis and turn right into Segamat towards Kuantan on route no.12. Then turn in to Kuantan (route no. 3) to Kuala Terengganu. |

Alternatively, on route no.3 to Kuantan, head on till reach the town. Upon reaching the coastal roads, look out for directions towards Kuala Terengganu. |
